Victor Jackson, MD, MBA
Medical Director
With a dynamic blend of medical expertise and compassionate leadership, Dr. Victor S. Jackson stands at the forefront of internal medicine and healthcare management. As the medical director of Oasis Health Clinic, Dr. Jackson embodies a dedication to delivering comprehensive and personalized healthcare that is both proactive and preventive. His extensive training includes an MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine, refining his expertise in adult primary care and geriatrics.​​
Dr. Jackson’s professional journey is marked by his commitment to improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. From 2018 to 2020, and again from 2023 to 2024, he served as a faculty physician at UTMB’s Outpatient Community-based Clinics, providing value-based care focused on prevention and health maintenance. His leadership extended to his role as the Associate Medical Director and Medical Director of the Transitional Care Unit at UTMB Texas Department of Criminal Justice Hospital. Here, he led efforts to enhance care standards, reduce hospital stay lengths, and oversee significant quality improvement projects.

Dr. Jackson’s community engagement is as robust as his medical practice. He is the founder and CEO of the Jackson Family Cares Foundation, providing free medical care to underserved communities since 2015. Additionally, he has been one of the steadfast faculty directors at Luke’s Society Free Clinic in Galveston for over 5 years, demonstrating his commitment to healthcare accessibility.
At Oasis Health Clinic, Dr. Jackson’s approach integrates cutting-edge medical technology with a human touch, ensuring every patient feels valued and well cared for. His work and dedication highlight his belief that good health is the foundation of vibrant communities, and he is committed to fostering wellness across all ages.

​He is married to Maira Jackson, RN-BC, BSN, they have 5 adorable children. Dr. Jackson
enjoys spending time with his family, church activities, volunteering with the Luke
Society, mentoring, traveling, cooking, and gardening. He is a Veteran of the United
States Armed Forces.
